We are developing a subscription-based car service, which is more flexible and less engaging than leasing. All our vehicles are connected and supply our data warehouse: predictive maintenance, discounts offered to drivers who drive responsibly, the possibilities are endless.
Today, between Paris and London, we have more than 300 vehicles connected to our systems.
Hiveway is also a team of 10 passionate people who want to build a new way of consuming the car. Our premises are located in the heart of Paris, in nice premises and part of the team works remotely.
We meet regularly in Paris to gather the whole team and we need to plan trips to our offices two to three times a month. You can choose your hardware: Mac, Win10 or Linux, everything is possible.

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our development team in Amsterdam. Job duties will include working on Stream's core API technology as well as designing and building high-performance software.
What you will be doing
Most of your day will be dedicated to software design, research, and coding. On typical projects, you will have a lot of freedom and you will be paired with another team member. Our team is made up of very experienced engineers, some with more than 10 years of experience. By working together you will learn from each other along the way. You will have an enormous impact on making our API service faster, more scalable and more flexible.
You will add new features to the service and find ways to make the existing ones perform orders of magnitude faster. Our customers have millions of users; they use Stream for mission critical features such as showing content and exposing core functionality of their application. Building stable and reliable software is not just an option: as a member of the development team, you will design and write state-of-the-art software, follow best practices, measure everything and be responsible for deployment to production. You will also spend part of your time talking to our customers and help them to use Stream in their app.

ENGINEERING TEAM
Our Engineering Team consists of over fifty Senior Engineers that are responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our platform, from architecture through to infrastructure. There are a wide range of problems to tackle as an Engineer at Form3, from configuring nginx proxies to writing custom payment routing and handling logic. It’s very much a “best tool for the job” mentality here and our tech-stack is forever evolving. Our primary programming language is Go however we do have some services written using Java, Python and Ruby.
