In the short term, we have a few priority updates that need to be made to our iOS app as well as our web portal which we have specced out based on our clients needs. We are looking to hire a Golang developer (Part-time, Remote) who will help us with an upcoming blockchain project.
We are building a distributed team and work in Asian time zones. There must be an overlap of at least 2-3 hours every day.
The ideal person should be able to work 4 - 6 hours every day, 5 days a week. This means 20 - 30 hours per week for the next 6 months.
Stream uses Go for our video SFU & chat API. We power chat for many large apps like Strava, Nextdoor, Patreon, IBM, Adobe and Midjourney. In addition to Go we use CockroachDB/Postgres, RocksDB, Raft and Redis.
We are willing to train you on Go if you’re experienced on a different tech stack (we have a 10 week internal onboarding program focused on Go, scalability etc.).
