The role

You will be responsible for designing and building a transformation of our Helm charts for on premises installations of recommended configurations. You will also be responsible for keeping these up to date when new capabilities are added across the stack. We will also require occasional help to design and code out solutions for our Tyk Operator. You will also be expected to manage a small team, and mentor and improve mid-weight and / or junior engineers.

• Provide technical leadership to the Tyk Kubernetes Operator and Tyk Helm charts projects, working with the Product Manager to suggest new ideas or challenge existing strategy.
• Be a key shaper and contributor to our continuous improvement agenda - be it the clarity of our user stories, how we estimate, or how we ensure continuous testing, we expect this role to be advocate of continuous improvement
• Line management of a small team - mentoring, improving, leading performance reviews, assisting in objective setting, and reviewing progress against our progression matrix
• Lead the drive to embed and run a DevOps and DevEx culture where we have a clear focus on release engineering quality and automation

Autoscaler team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to expand its rapidly growing team.

At autoscaler team, our day is usually full of challenges. Have you ever encountered the situation where you need to expand your cloud infrastructure, in order for certain workloads to be deployed, and once the demand is low, to cut back on your cloud spendings? Most of us probably did, or at least know the many paths that need to be taken in order to achieve that.

One of the team's responsibilities is to make sure that whenever a customer is about to deploy something the burden of making sure that things are running & not costing unnecessary money is uplifted from them. • What kind of instance types to use (spot vs on-demand)?

Whether you started in the cloud or migrated there during your career, we’re looking for someone like you to join our experienced team building the next generation of virtual collaboration tools.

You’ll spend your time architecting and building robust, performant systems running on cloud providers and utilizing cloud services. You’ll work across teams to anticipate backend requirements for upcoming product and engineering needs. You’ll continually improve the security, performance and elegance of the system.

What You’ll Do

• Work with our integrated cloud/native team to build solutions addressing the core challenges of worldwide collaborative XR.
• Design and build scalable services to support upcoming features.
• Learn and improve our existing Go-based systems.
• Design secure, elegant APIs for client applications.
• All the standard stuff: Document architecture, write robust code, stay current on cloud services, evaluate frameworks, etc.

About You

• You want to be excited about the product you’re building. We love what we’re creating at The Wild and want you to love it, too.
• You have commercial experience developing scalable cloud applications.
• You are a proficient Go developer.
• You are familiar with basic cloud services, encompassing compute, routing, scaling, storage, databases and functions.
• You are test- and data-driven and excel at understanding how things work to keep them working.
• You are self-motivated and self-directed.
• You’re eager to do your best work using all the tools you’ve gained through your career. We’re excited to see what you do!

You’re Unique

Everyone brings along their own special skills and we want to hear about it. Some examples:

• An interest in containers and clusters, particularly Kubernetes.
• An interest in transport and messaging - TCP/UDP, HTTP/gRPC/WebSockets, MQTT/WebRTC, etc.; you think about how large amounts of data move efficiently between machines.
• The application of machine learning to 3D geometry and positional data.
