I have 6+ years experience as a Software Engineer for various roles and teams. I have experience in Software Development, spanning from large scale backend services and web applications to machine learning teams. I had the privilege to work in YouTube at Google scale applications, but also outside of Google with distributed systems that served up to 1M RPS while keeping an SLA of 99,9%+. My main passion revolves around software design and backend development. Hey , I am Dhruv Mehta. Around a years ago started my journey to learn Golang and want to become Go backend developer. I have now enough knowledge to start working in Golang. Moreover, I have remote experienced as backend developer intern in each I work with REST API in Golang Fiber and MongoDB & other backend tools. Looking forward to new remote opportunity.

I work with backend software engineering since 2017. I started with PHP (Laravel), but since 2020 I work with golang as my main language. I have a bachelor of Computer Science degree. I work mainly on the development of REST, gRPC, and event-driven services. I'm used to working in environments that deal with huge requests volumetry. Currently, I work at a platform squad, which has the main focus on providing scalable microservices, SDKs, and other tools to others devs' squads. Our focus is to deliver scalable, monitorable, reliable, fault-tolerant and secure services. I focus on design and architecture of software. My daily basis work routine involves SOLID, hexagonal architecture, clean code, and unit tests. As a software engineer, those are some keywords that i work daily: golang, REST, gRPC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, and Kubernetes. About observability and monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, and ELK. For cloud, my main knowledges are AWS and GCP.

I have ~10 years of experience at medium to large tech firms and have worked on some of the biggest and most scalable codebases in the world.
