We're looking for a media focused systems engineer to join our growing engineering team. You'll work in an autonomous group that builds cloud-based services to power our entire media processing and delivery pipeline: the service at the very core of the Frame.io product. You will prototype innovative ideas and look to continuously optimize and enhance our media pipeline.

As a team we work with petabytes of data, hundreds of thousands of video encodes per day, and the challenges and demands that come from working at the very forefront of delivering Enterprise grade secure review experiences. Required Qualifications: 5+ year’s software development experience preferably within an Agile development environment Experience with Go, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, Web Services, Database Design (PostgreSQL), multithreading, socket programming, OO design, and troubleshooting in Linux environment Experience developing APIs for integration and connectivity to third party platforms Experience developing responsive, semantic, standards compliant HTML and CSS At ease in a Linux/Unix development and build environment with experience using Git and CI tools (Jenkins, etc.) Candidate will have a strong understanding of system architectures and design concepts for high transaction volume applications. Full development life cycle- Hands-on through design, implementation, integration, and testing phases. Strong analytical and communication skills to perform analysis and planning for deployment, including failure/recoveries, capacity/performance considerations, and verification.
