I am a backend developer with 5+ YOE. I have been using Python for years. In the past year I have been deepening my skills in Golang through personal projects. I am actively finding an opportunity to work with Golang more.
Methodical and highly skilled Software Engineer with extensive background in developing and deploying various software programs. Collaborates well with managers and technical staff to produce reliable and forward-thinking designs. Coordinates projects according to customer requirements and consistently provides prompt and quality service.
I’m a physicist and software engineer with a background in both building systems and solving problems from the ground up. I studied Physics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, where I developed a strong interest in both fields. On the computer science side, I enjoyed digging into data structures, algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic programming. On the physics side, I was all about Electrodynamics, Statistical Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Quantum Physics. My master’s thesis focused on solving electrostatics problems using the Julia programming language. Since February 2022, I’ve been working at Ericsson Nikola Tesla — first as a student engineer, but taking on full-time responsibilities well before my official title changed. I develop and maintain security features inside the massive telecom systems that power 5G/LTE networks, mainly using Erlang plus some Java for testing with JCAT (Java-based automated test framework). Outside of work, I’m focused on learning backend development, especially Golang, to support my solo projects — like Hawat, an Arduino-based industrial automation machine I’m currently upgrading (Hawat 2.0 will feature a full web interface and data logging). I’m also familiar with Elixir and always exploring new tools to push my projects further.
