The backend engineering team at Qonto currently has over 35 highly skilled engineers, from all over the world, working closely in cross-functional teams to shape our banking solutions. ⢠Design, develop and maintain our API's for maximum resilience, scalability, robustness and security,

Our primary languages are Golang and Ruby on the backend, EmberJS on the frontend, and Kotlin and Swiftfor our Mobile applications. Our platform runs on a Kubernetes cluster hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL as our database of choice, using Kafka for our event sourcing and ELK for logging and auditing, among many other tools, services and applications.

As part of our Engineering department, you will work within one of our cross-functional teams, each team handling part of our product. A few examples of these teams are:
đłCards: the team responsible for all things cards. On the backend this includes but is not limited to: all things related to card shipment, paying with cards, billing for cards, and card security.

Monzoâs security team has a wide range of responsibilities, from infrastructure security to application security. As a bank, we are solving diverse, novel problems to ensure that our customers are safe and secure.
One of the guiding principles of security at Monzo is that security at the expense of user experience is a last resort. We aim to move mountains in the background such that we can build world-class features without compromising on security.
As a member of our security team you would be responsible for constantly improving the security of Monzo, and you would work closely with other teams to ensure that our systems are secure by design. Monzo works in project-based sprints in small, interdisciplinary teams
We have around 190 engineers out of roughly 1000 people in total - and we have big ambitions. By leveraging AMP for Email, Dyspatch provides a library of interactive email apps that users can add to their templates to dramatically increase engagement. About Grafana Labs:
There are more than 700,000 active installations of Grafana around the globe, monitoring everything from beehives to climate change in the Alps. The instantly recognizable dashboards have been spotted everywhere from a SpaceX launch and Minecraft HQ to Wimbledon and the Tour de France. Grafana Labs also helps companies including Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay manage their observability strategies with full-stack offerings that can be run fully managed with Grafana Cloud, or self-managed with Grafana Enterprise Stack. The Grafana stack has grown to include two other open-source projects, Grafana Loki (for logs) and Grafana Tempo (for traces)
This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in the North American time zones.
About the Grafana Enterprise Squad:
Grafana Enterprise teams work on building functionality and plugins as extensions on top of our open source projects to support the security, reliability, and scalability needs of enterprises and organisations with large deployments.
We are working closely with the rest of the Grafana teams and the daily work often spans both open source and proprietary code.
Our culture is one of remote-first and we build our teams to have a large overlap of working hours. Our teams also plan in-person team building meet-ups and also gather to attend industry conferences.
What you'll work on:
The team focuses on delivering functionality from the roadmap, fixing bugs, and helping Support & Sales Engineering teams. We regularly do product research together with the UX and product team and meet with customers.
