We are a polyglot shop, and use the best tools for the job. On the front-end, we use React/Redux on Node.js. Our public API is written in Go. Our micro-services are written in Ruby or Go.

What we need from you: -3+ years practical use of programming in a modern programming language -Solid object-oriented programming and functional programming design skills -Passion for technology and building scalable systems -Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) -Excellent communication skills -Participated in the architecture and design of new and existing products -Never stopped learning, and are always ready to pick up new languages, frameworks, libraries -Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Golang, Node, React/Redux, Javascript (ECMAScript 5+), Ruby, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL, Solr, Rabbit MQ

Job Description

Paay is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a permanent role based in New York. This person will design and implement infrastructure automation for new and existing applications within an Agile/Scrum environment. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate daily with fellow development team members to drive best practices and identify innovative strategies for successful software delivery.

The ideal candidate will be a master at using infrastructure automation and CI/CD using tools such as AWS, Terraform and Ansible.

Competencies:

• Administering and automating linux
• Software development ideally in Go, Python, or Javascript
• Implementing robust, effective, and high quality solutions.
• Systems administration of source code management systems and package repositories (as a DevOps Engineer not systems admin!).
• Database administration and tuning including Mysql and/or PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of AWS
• Experience in threat monitoring and resolution

Required Skills/ Experience

• Cloud deployment automation experience ideally utilizing Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS and container orchestration such as SQS, Dynamodb, AWS Load Balancers, docker and ECS

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design of new services and frameworks that advance our ambitious product goals. As a senior software engineer in the platform team you will:

• Develop scalable, low-latency web services using a variety of tools and languages, including Go, NodeJS, Docker and ECS.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop new features within our core platforms. You will work with product managers to translate user and partner requirements into technical designs, and with other Engineers to bring those designs to life with an emphasis on scalability, latency and accuracy.
• Deliver the APIs and programmatic interfaces that drive deep integrations between Button and our largest partners.
• Maintain a‘mystery-free’ production environment and keep the pagers quiet by implementing excellent monitoring, anticipating and planning for the unexpected.

• A passion for building reliable and scalable backend services in a distributed environment, and an interest in exploring new technologies.
• A strong understanding of relational databases, and experience building stateful web services.
• An excellent understanding of API design, and experience designing reliable RESTful APIs.
• Experience coding in Go, Javascript / NodeJS, or Python — our major programming languages.

Job Description

Routefire is looking for a senior engineer with full-stack experience and an interest in (and ideally experience in) cryptocurrencies and/or trading. The position will involve developing our data pipeline, exchange connectivity, trading algorithms, and frontend web application. The majority of projects are blue ocean and the candidate will have the opportunity to shape the architecture of Routefire's trading engine and routing protocols going forward.
