Your role 🙋
Beyond being just a manager of the engineering team, you will be a key team player. Being hands on with the code, but with the skills and experience to discuss solutions, evaluate code and having the capacity to assist the team when needed. You will balance everything related to code quality, time to market and ensure the team delivers top quality software following best practices.

Your qualifications 👨🎓 * What we need to see: * Experience at developing, mentoring and growing a high performing team * A desire to spend a significant percentage of your time close to the code * Excellent communication skills * A proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering new products, preferably in complex and high transaction fintech and/or banking environment
What we’d love to see: * Golang expertise * Experience from high growth fintechs * Experience from the ecommerce space
Your tool stack 💻 Mac. Chrome. Even… Windows. Choose the hardware that helps you work best. We’ll also support whatever software you need. From Miro to Slack and everything in between.

We’re looking for a strong, collaborative software developer who wants to help build and scale our digital product, which aims to provide our users with the fastest, most intuitive way to learn about and purchase the right life insurance for their families.Our ideal candidate has startup experience, or is excited about the idea of working in an environment where we test, learn, and iterate quickly. We’re looking for a proactive and highly competent individual contributor who will be able to hit the ground running.
We’d like to see at least 4 years experience (or a super awesome track record on delivering cool stuff). Bonus points for full stack developers (we use Javascript + Vue) or those with experience in the insuretech space.

Location: US only; remote work is OK. Much of our team is based on the greater NYC area, and many of us will probably return to an office at some point - so while it won’t be required, it will eventually be an option for anyone in the area who prefers working from an office.

Sr. Platform Engineer to spearhead further development of next-gen SaaS application hosting on AWS.

Our Engineering team is based in the thriving warehouse district of downtown Phoenix. Come join us.. it's not that hot. Okay thats a lie - it can get really hot. But you'll be able to afford a 3600sqft house with a pool and plenty of AC - and only be asked to commute to the engineering office (Galvanize PHX) 1-2 days a week as we are a fully remote team.
Relocating to PHX is not required, but helpful.
