As a key member of our foundational engineering team of eight, you will be architecting, estimating, developing, and testing new features and improvements using an agile development approach. You will be working directly with the founders of the company, who are experienced developers with a proven track record in SaaS.
You will be working on greenfield Go microservices that will build on, and over time, replace, our monolithic CakePHP app. You’ll be working with bleeding edge technology including Go, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Terraform, Github, and AWS.
Clean code, collaboration, iterative development, rapid releases, and continuous improvement form the culture of our engineering team. We prioritize team velocity over individual performance. Our development process involves two-week sprints, with epics being split up as granular as possible to parallelize work. Comnoco is a young SaaS company with an enterprise grade product. We’ve built (in Go) a way to program backends without writing code. Users can create APIs and functions as a service as well as visually build amazing PDFs and other communications.
We’re looking for an experienced Golang developer to join us on this journey and be a part of our core early team.
Our high-level tech stack is Go, speaking gRPC between microservices and gRPC-web to our frontend which is written in Typescript and Vue. PostgreSQL, Bolt & Minio cover storage and the Ory.sh stack covers everything identity & Auth.
For deployment we’re looking to implement Infrastructure as Code (probably Pulumi) on Kubernetes (on one of the usual cloud platforms; AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc).

Just kidding! We use modern and diverse IT infrastructure. Our solutions are web-based, with backends in Golang andPython and frontends in Typescript and React.
