For this position, we are looking for somebody who either has or is able to quickly demonstrate abilities with some or all of the following technologies:

Golang: all of our new service development is done in Golang.
PostgreSQL: we make heavy use of databases, and we use PostgreSQL primarily.- Kubernetes/Docker/CI Pipelines/MAKE/shell
Operating Systems and User-Machine Software: Acronis interacts heavily with client machines, experience with non-web-service software development, particularly user applications in Windows and Linux.
HTTP APIs: we need people who understand HTTP APIs from verbs to oauth to TLS, as well as familiarity with nginx, DNS and other key application-level technologies.
Python, C#, Java: this will get you bonus points or would be considered in place of Golang, in conjunction with existing basic fluency in Golang and strong skills in SQL and other key areas listed here.

Additional technologies which successful applicant should be able to quickly develop and display competency:

GraphQL: For schema aggregation and presentation usage.
WebSockets/gRPC: Event reactive frontend architectures.

About The Role

Our mission is simple: take our leading product and transform it into a global SaaS product. We're Fuzzbuzz and we're building a fuzzing as a service platform that integrates into CI systems and the modern software testing workflow. About the Team

We're currently a team of 5 people and prefer staying small - allowing us to iterate faster and get very comfortable working with each other (the 3 founders have been roommates since first year university). ##About the role We are looking for highly motivated and talented engineers to work with the team and help lay the foundations for the financial future! As a Software Engineer specializing in Go, you will build mission-critical software that enables decentralized applications to interact with the Cardano blockchain reliably and at scale.

Your contributions

  • Work on the front lines of a quickly-growing blockchain startup and lead the design and implementation of Maestro’s Dapp Platform.
  • Become the key technical leader of in-house Go services and design reliable, performant and microservice-oriented applications.
  • Design and build APIs, data pipelines and event-driven systems to support reliable and scalable transmission of mission-critical data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish seamless integrations and efficient interfaces.

Your background and experience

  • B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related technical field and/or comparable work experience.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience architecting and writing software that interfaces with cloud-native, distributed systems.
  • Experience building highly-performant APIs and data processing pipelines that are rigorously tested and horizontally scalable.
  • Deep understanding of common software design principles, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience building systems that interact with both SQL and NoSQL databases in an optimal way.
  • Containerization and deployment of software using Docker.

Nice to haves

  • Container orchestration and service deployments using Kubernetes.
  • Google Cloud Platform experience.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and projects.
  • Experience building applications in blockchain and fintech.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be helping to drive our product and engineering department forward, working on different parts of the Paddle ecosystem and helping our Software Sellers sell their products on a platform they trust and rely on.

Our Engineering Department is split into 8 cross functional Product teams, along with an SRE and Data team.

Our Product teams are made up of an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager and between 4 - 8 engineers (mix of backend and frontend), depending on the demands of the team.

Dyspatch is looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our dynamic Engineering team. We care about great engineering culture and creating a product that helps people work smarter, not harder. You’ll report to our Vice-President, Engineering and work with a talented team of engineers across Canada, and Dyspatchios across North America.

As a Lead Developer you’ll share responsibility for all things technical, including the development of our platform architecture, partner integrations, and data pipelines. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape how our growing team collaborates, ships software, and delivers high-quality technical solutions. As a team we’re responsible for maintaining a planned and prioritized technical roadmap so we can get ahead of any technical debt slowing us down.

We're a fully remote team and also maintain an office in Victoria, BC, where some team members are co-located. Coming to the office is optional, and most Dyspatchios work from home.

In the first 3 months, you will:

  • Get ramped up on our tech stack and architecture, working closely with senior members of the Engineering Team

  • Actively contribute your ideas to product planning sessions, advocating for customer needs & high levels of technical quality
  • Build out traffic, performance and user action monitoring systems to collect data for future feature implementation
  • Get up-to-speed on our business model and participate with the Product Team in roadmap sessions

Within 12 months, you will:
