We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and help build and scale our backend workflow engine/platform

The Job

• Design and implement a rule-based workflow engine that handles complex prescription management and processing logic
• Develop tools and algorithms to test and measure the performance of the workflow engine
• Work closely with product managers to understand business problem, help them with technical feasibility of the implementation, requirement validation, and review the designs as well as business flows
• Design, implement, test, and launch Phil's backend services and API platform for multiple consumer apps.
• Work collaboratively with remote Dev and QA teams reviewing implementation and answering queries about the platform. -Strong motivation to clean technical debt keeping an eye on new business flows, evolving requirements, and platform scalability and robustness
• Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code
• Full stack development with knowledge of javascript frameworks like React, Angular etc a plus.

Requirements

• Experience building rules engine-based processing and or workflow management systems
• Experience building and maintaining secure, end-to-end systems and services using any language. Experience in golang and MongoDB prefered
• Deep understanding of algorithms and efficient data structures
• Experience working with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle – ranging from architecture and design to implementation and testing.
• Strong critical thinking, debugging and problem solving skills
• Experience building systems and services for health-tech company is preferred
• Sense of ownership: you would develop, manage, and evolve the core logic of Phil platform and features
• Strong interest in understanding the underlying business and the problem we want to solve using technology

What will you do: Being a part of our infrastructure team, you will be working with Lead backend Engineer on complex migration of our codebase to Python 3 with its further optimization. Okta's Developer Experience team is looking for an experienced engineer with a love for the Go language, and a desire to work on open source SDKs that will delight our developer community. In this role you will have influence over our Go community strategy, which has a large base of developers working in the Dev Ops arena. Developers building on Okta want tools, written in Go, to facilitate their roll out of applications that leverage Okta as the underlying identity platform.

We currently offer a Go Management SDK, and a Terraform provider. In this role you will have ownership over these SDKs, as well as future SDKs that we create.

Okta's identity platform allows developers at companies of all sizes to integrate modern authentication features and workflows into their own applications. The Developer Experience team is responsible for sharing the love with those developers by identifying common use cases and creating tools and SDKs that make their lives easier, while helping them understand our product and the protocols that we support.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). As an SRE, you will be tasked with the reliability and operation of our production environments. SREs are tasked with ensuring teams within the company receive help maintaining software at scale, as well as help designing and developing software for scale. These position is based out of our Washington D.C. or Chicago Illinois office locations. An active clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance will be required.

• Coming alongside high energy engineering teams to enable the adoption of best practices to enable the scalability and reliability of deployed software,
• Defined architecture and built services at scale on public infrastructure such as AWS and Azure,
