As a Go backend engineer, you’ll work on our API servers and internal libraries that make the Vizzlo products come to live. Your code will talk to AWS storage infrastructure, to JavaScript frontends, and best of all, to lots of different third-party APIs of other products Vizzlo integrates with. You are passionate about idiomatic Go code but are not afraid to tackle obstacles from all kinds of points of view when necessary. You love to write reliable, scalable, and tested code.

Your mission
You'll be joining the team developing the web marketplace backend. We create the business logic both for the customer-facing frontend and for the "back-office" of the product. We work on all layers of the system from the database models to public APIs. What your primary responsibilities will be: - Improve the SDK codebase by committing DRY, well tested code. - Work with the SDK team to triage tickets and move the project forward. - Review pull requests and provide valuable feedback to members of the team and open source contributors. - Mentor junior engineers and support the growth and health of the team. - Help with developer adoption by supporting projects using the SDK. - Participate in developer discussion forums and work to improve the usability based on user feedback. - Promote the SDK by publishing blog posts and guides.
