Our DevOps team builds the infrastructure, processes, and tools necessary to release, monitor, and manage our applications with high velocity and efficiency in a modern cloud-native environment. We value automation, self-service, and empowerment of product engineering to manage our codebase from development to production.
By joining our team, you will play a significant role in supporting our growing architecture, working with edge cloud technologies, and implementing innovative solutions for our products. As with many young companies, your responsibilities may evolve. Here are some of the things we expect you to take on as a DevOps Engineer:
End-to-end ownership of everything related to the infrastructure that keeps ChartMogul alive and running, including running daily operations of our infrastructure on AWS
Collaborate with the product engineering teams and the various service support teams in engineering (QA, AppSec, Data Engineering) in service of maintaining, building, and improving our underlying systems so that they are highly available, scalable and performant
Actively contribute to improving our systems and evolve our infrastructure: flawless CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, containers monitoring, automation with infrastructure as code, GitOps, reliability on AWS cloud
Join our constant efforts to meet and overcome standards for information security and compliance; ensuring our customer data is as safe as possible is our top priority
Proactively identify and validate areas of improvement as necessary by using the best tool available for a given case and constantly researching and evaluating industry trends that fit ChartMogul's needs
Our Tech Stack
We run a combination of Kubernetes clusters and a fleet of Linux machines for our Rails stack, along with multiple microservices backed up by PostgreSQL databases and a Redis datastore. Our legacy infrastructure is running on AWS EKS (Kubernetes and containers).
2 years of professional experience as a DevOps / SRE / Systems Engineer
Hands-on experience with high traffic production infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Linux and computer networking
Experience with AWS cloud and services
Experience with configuration management systems
Experience with managing and monitoring databases
Next to speaking English fluently, you can understand and translate business requirements into clearly articulated technology solutions

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer II who is familiar with cloud platforms, container technology and loves automation. As the first dedicated hire supporting cloud infrastructure, internal tooling and automation you will have an impact on how we operate all our systems and services. In this role you will help build and maintain cloud infrastructure for our tools and products as well as assist with customer deployments ensuring we are following best practices and industry standards. You'll directly contribute to the success of our new hosted product by serving a hybrid DevOps / SRE function. This role will participate in our on-call rotation.
Requirements
3+ years as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, cloud engineer, site reliability engineer or systems administrator
Demonstrable experience administering AWS, especially VPCs, Lambda, RDS, S3 and IAM Roles & Policies
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform
Excellent understanding of Docker & container technologies
Hands on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Demonstrable understanding of modern software development practices including pair programming, peer reviews, Git-based workflows, continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing

The role
You will be responsible for designing and building high quality and customer centric solutions within our platform team. The role:
We are looking for a talented Senior Go Developer to help us scope, build, and maintain our Developer Portal. We’d love you to have experience with CMS frameworks, have a strong understanding and practical experience with TDD. You will be an expert-level Golang developer. You are a passionate, which is the most important, software engineer with several years of experience crafting software, it is better :), but if you feel that you have the potential, don't hesitate, and with:
broad experience in back-end development, HTTP and APIs
preferably, some experiences with Go, knowledge of distributed systems and simplicity, familiar with the UNIX philosophy, database such as MySQL, swagger ...
A big + would be that you understand or you have worked as a DevOps as we build a DevOps platform.
What is also important is that we are looking for more than just a developer. We are looking for a person who can build with us new features, can bring some new ideas to what could be a great DevOps platform to build a bridge between Dev & Ops & tools.
We work on empowering people so we don't have a full-time product manager due to our culture.
You are of course a team player and know how to work in remote even if you can work at Cycloid office in Paris if you live in IDF. You can decide to work on remote or co-working place if you are located in Europe, we only hire people located in Europe to avoid timezone issue and we don't accept relocation. All the organisation are in an asynchronous manner. We don’t use emails, only Github, Slack, Trello and Hangout.

The role
You will be responsible for designing and building out compelling and quality solutions for our Universal Data Graph (UDG) product. You will work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Engineers, QA experts, and UX Designers to shape and deliver high quality and high efficiency solutions for Universal Data Graph. You will be expected to input into UDG strategy, and be a keen advocate of continuous improvement concepts in our software engineering lifecycle – continuous testing, continuous integration, linting etc.
You will be a talented line manager, with experience in running teams, mentoring junior engineers, and leading a culture of empowerment and constant process and standards improvement.

Here’s what you’ll be getting up to:
* Contributing to strategic direction of UDG, working with the Senior Product
* Manager to suggest new ideas or challenge existing strategy
* Developing our event driven GraphQL (GQL) subscriptions product
* Building data connectors and resolvers to myriad datasources and which can be transformed into a GQL end point
* Working with our UX team to create highly efficient and beautiful solutions which leverage no-code principles and ‘drag and drop’ ease of use
* Iterating and improving our federation solution for dividing GQL implementation over multiple back end data sources
* Designing and delivering analytics solutions for GQL and UDG
* Advocating and driving a continuous improvement agenda for how we engineer – driving continuous testing, continuous integration, test coverage, linting etc and driving your teams to adopt the same mindset
* Responsible for ensuring your teams feature to debt ratio remains healthy
* Working with the Product Manager to architect solutions to future roadmap items or new capabilities, using well accepted design patterns that allow for future scaling
* Working with DevSecOps to embed a security first approach to our product iteration and ensure what is released is safe for our customers
* Takes responsibility for the quality, maintainability and flexibility of code written by your team
* A leader of ensuring we write automated tests for every new capability and bug fix and ensure this culture permeates.
* Have a clear focus on creating , coding, and testing solutions for non functional use cases – technical debt reduction, documentation improvement, security, stability, bug fix
* Driving your teams adherence to Tyk coding standards – ensuring test cases are written, ensuring documentation is written, driving high levels of automation in our pipeline process, ensuring tests are passing before merge
* Driving your teams adherence to Scrum process , being an example in working to definition of ready / done, improving estimation, documentation first etc
* Be a key shaper and contributor to our continuous improvement agenda – be it the clarity of our user stories, how we estimate, or how we ensure continuous testing, we expect this role to be advocate of continuous improvement

We're looking for...
Experience developing distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs (including using them as integration points with third-party applications) in a variety of programming languages.
Experience using one of the public cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure) with CI/CD pipelines (Travis/CircleCI) to build, test and deploy.
Willingness to mentor junior members of the team.

WalletConnect is the open-source web3 standard to connect blockchain wallets to dapps. Started four years ago, our mission is to make web3 accessible to everyone. Every month, millions of people use WalletConnect in over 200 integrations.
We’re looking for a backend golang engineer to join our team to build and scale our network. To help grow web3, we recently launched WalletConnect 2.0 with new features, including multi-chain support, a decentralized back-end, faster connections, and 10x performance and scalability. You will help us expand and scale our backend messaging infrastructure.
You will be responsible for building Golang messaging services. A main challenge is growing our services to scale for our millions of users across billions of websocket connections every month, as well as ensuring security and resiliency.
To help with your role, you will have the support of our devops team to deploy and manage our infrastructure, will work closely with our protocol and SDK teams, and have exposure to the full WalletConnect stack.
The ideal candidate is immersed in the best practices of golang at scale, messaging systems and Websockets.
Responsibilities:
Building a microservice architecture based on Golang with scaling in mind
Work with protocols such as Websockets, gRPC
Help with monitoring by creating metrics with Prometheus and Grafana
Develop unit and integration tests for core business logic
