Hunter's product team is hiring a Backend Go developer! You'll become one of the key team members responsible for moving the data side of the Hunter application forward.

We’re a bootstrapped and sustainable product-focused company. We’ve set up a great work environment for our team, focusing on autonomy and growth. You'll be part of the product team alongside Bastien (head of engineering), Bernardo (Backend Go developer), Mark (Ruby on Rails developer), Chris (Designer), François, and Antoine (co-founders).

About the role

At Hunter, we've been working from the start with one Go application (managing all our data) and one Ruby on Rails application (responding to users' requests). This setup has allowed us to be highly productive while our team stays small. We believe in always finding the most elegant way to build our product, and Go has been the ideal language to crawl, parse, and organize billions of public web pages.

As part of a small group within a young company, you will work on various projects over time, but you can expect that:

• You'll work on our main Go codebase that gathers, processes, and provides all the data of hunter.io.
• Within a few weeks, you'll become responsible for significant projects that will improve Hunter by building new critical features in our existing services. Over time, you'll help expand our product line.

• You'll work with the rest of the product team to gradually increase the importance of NLP in our data pipelines.
• You'll get a high level of autonomy in your work and help shape future development efforts.

About you

• You have multiple years of experience working with Backend Development. Ideally, you have experience in Go. If you don’t, you should be confident in your ability to pick up this new skill quickly.

Knowledge of Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, Backbone, and the like, should be something you can bring. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience working in and leading agile development teams. This role will be responsible for building features for our marketplace partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and Golang. Experience in React or React Native is a bonus but not required.

We’re building the engineering team to lead Rumble into the future. Our work is a mix of Go development, low-level protocol research, standard web technologies, PostgreSQL, and a mix of cloud technologies and integrations. We’re searching for senior engineers to grow our team! You will contribute to all stages of development, deployment, support, operations, and product planning. This position reports directly to the CEO today and will split into functional teams once the team expands. About Codefi Staking and Data/Compliance Codefi Staking is an institutional ETH2 staking as a service provider. We are working with some of the world’s largest exchanges and custodians to enable them to offer Ethereum 2.0 staking to their customers.

Codefi Compliance are a set of backend data and compliance services implemented in Go that serve a frontend KYT application (Know-Your-Transaction, scanning on-chain activity of Ethereum accounts to identify suspicious activities) and also other products and applications of ConsenSys.

Role Responsibilities

We are looking for backend Golang developers with production big data pipeline (ETL) and/or application architecture experience.

Required Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer working on production applications 3+ years of Golang backend development experience Experience with, or understanding of: PostgreSQL and other databases General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Serverless and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure) Building production-grade applications/APIs Understanding of the Ethereum 1.0 Protocol, on-chain storage and data structures Experience working on agile projects in an Enterprise setting Experience working in CI/CD setup Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment. Excellent communication skills. Writing good technical documentation. • Write efficient Go. Customers run our code in their production systems, which means you write, build and run a comprehensive test suite to make sure each release is extensively tested and dependable.
• You thrive on managing multiple in-flight workstreams while influencing outcomes in our open-source communities. You collaborate with internal and external teams to provide technical leadership for new feature development, through creation and review of multi-language feature specifications, architecture and documentation..

About the role
