Tackle convoluted problems and develop clean, stable solutions that scale. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a genuine passion for designing and implementing elegant software solutions. We have a need for a Software Developer to focus on building out new platform services. You will work on a team developing the next generation of core platform capabilities for Acronis, powering the transformation to a Cyber Protection Platform. Our team primarily develops new or generalizes existing applications relevant to core functionality to enable our wide range of applications and integrations.
For this position, we are looking for somebody who either has or is able to quickly demonstrate abilities with some or all of the following technologies:
Golang: all of our new service development is done in Golang.
PostgreSQL: we make heavy use of databases, and we use PostgreSQL primarily.- Kubernetes/Docker/CI Pipelines/MAKE/shell
Operating Systems and User-Machine Software: Acronis interacts heavily with client machines, experience with non-web-service software development, particularly user applications in Windows and Linux.
HTTP APIs: we need people who understand HTTP APIs from verbs to oauth to TLS, as well as familiarity with nginx, DNS and other key application-level technologies.
Python, C#, Java: this will get you bonus points or would be considered in place of Golang, in conjunction with existing basic fluency in Golang and strong skills in SQL and other key areas listed here.

Monax were pioneers of permissioned blockchains and smart contracts and we are building our Agreements Network to allow new and more efficient forms of legal transacting.
Exploiting the benefits of various decentralised, distributed, and masterless technologies - chiefly Hyperledger Burrow, which Monax built from scratch and still maintains based on the Tendermint consensus engine.
You will have the chance to work on a system that has distributed consensus and validation in a low trust environment at its heart and offers very interesting challenges, these could be:

THE ROLE
Insomniac Events is seeking a Software Engineer with experience managing projects and leading development teams and is comfortable interacting with stakeholders and third party software vendors. Having the ability to develop customized strategies and adapt to each individual project is paramount to this position’s success.
This Software Engineer will deliver on-time, quality-driven code releases, strategize and manage multiple development projects, and provide direction on software design and the software development process. You will be responsible for writing clean, secure, reusable code while working closely with our internal team and offshore development team. This position is located in Calabasas, CA with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule. This is not a fully remote position.
