Last 3 years I have been writing golang code mainly. - Worked with a partner to understand their needs and helped them build their system around our product - Solved critical customer issues by directly engaging with them when needed - Conducted code reviews and mentored junior developers to improve code quality and ensure adherence to best practices - Transitioned to microservices architecture that improved system modularity and reduced dependencies between components - Created RESTFul API gateway microservice for the entire product, accomplished 100% automation capability of the product - Built a concurrent file writing microservice that writes at a speed of ~100 MBPS Handled the licensing component of back-end for 3 new features - Optimized backend code that reduced the starting time of hardware from ~20 sec to ~12 sec - Added logging system in a critical backend component, saw 40% decrease in bugs reported - Crafted SDAP & PDCP for network protocol layer which majorly deals with cryptography and quality of service flow
