Senior Golang Engineer at Upguard - Sydney, Australia

Job Description

In 2017 we launched the CyberRisk platform, a cutting-edge SaaS Cybersecurity product which helps organisations protect their information and prevent data breaches. Developed in Sydney, CyberRisk is now used by some of the biggest companies in the world, and continues to grow rapidly. We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join this team in Sydney.

About the role

• You'll be joining a small, collaborative team of excellent developers
• It's a modern tech stack - React, Go, Kubernetes, GCP
• You will be building new features for a product that is already in-market and growing rapidly
• We release new functionality at least every fortnight, and have done continuously for the past 2 years
• The team has full control over how they work, and end-to-end responsibility for the product (from feature design and development through to running the infrastructure)
• There's a mix of interesting technical challenges - everything from complex UI problems to supporting massive-scale automated web scanning
• You'll learn a lot about cybersecurity, and how the Internet works

Specific experience is not as important as the willingness to learn and make an impact. We use a modern stack of React, Go, and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform, so experience in those technologies is a bonus.
