The role
Build and scale the backend that manages users, devices, access policies and the connections between them. You own your features from design to production, including the data model, database performance and observability.
What you bring
- 5+ years of backend work, mostly in Go or another systems language.
- Distributed systems you built and ran under real load.
- Strong data modeling and database tuning.
- Networking basics (IP, routing) and OAuth2/OIDC.
- Startup experience and comfort with a lot of autonomy.
Nice to have
- VPN, WireGuard or peer-to-peer connectivity (NAT traversal, ICE, STUN, TURN).
- gRPC.
- Kubernetes.
- Open-source Go work.
