The role
Work on the networking core: the client that sets up fast, secure connections between devices on Linux, macOS and Windows, across every kind of network. You own the technical decisions in your area and sometimes help customers with hard networking problems.
What you bring
- 5+ years as a software engineer, 2+ of them in Go.
- Strong networking: protocols, routing, tunneling.
- Network performance work: measuring, profiling, removing bottlenecks.
- Deep concurrency and async programming, with good testing habits.
- Distributed systems design.
Nice to have
- VPN or tunneling software.
- Software shipped to millions of devices.
- gRPC.
- Open-source contributions.
