India’s economic infrastructure needs a complete overhaul. Today our digital economy rides on rickety monolithic systems built in the mid-90s. It takes months to do a simple bank integration and launch a fintech product. This inefficiency cannot continue.
If our economy has to grow, we need killer API infrastructure for financial services that rivals the likes of Stripe, and AWS.
At Setu, we are fixing this for good, by abstracting away the complexity of working with legacy financial infrastructure and replacing it with a developer platform that offers clean, high-performance API bundles to embed finance into any application.

Who are we looking for? Description of the role
The Full Stack Engineer role involves working across Setu's development stack, including various backend systems, frontend systems as well as quick prototyping of proof-of-concept features and projects.
Architecting: Figuring out all levels of designing and structuring systems, deciding on optimal levels of abstraction and future-proofing, patterns of orchestration of components and finally planning its execution.
Implementation: Should be able to structure and write code like prose for others to read, design and adhere to common principles and patterns that make everyone better at their jobs. Should have the ability to contribute according to timelines and type of projects - from working POCs to stable production code and the ability to work with a large breadth of knowledge.
Orchestration and integration: Interact with the larger engineering team for integrating your work into the ecosystem, help others in building over the base that you provide, help in orchestrating your work into CI/CD, testing, QA and automation pipelines.
Mentorship: We all love to learn and grow as engineers and human beings and we believe in synchronous growth as a team fueled by each and every individual's personal abilities, specializations, and interests. To enable this you'll be required to mentor others by sharing your expertise in various forms and be subject to be mentored by others and thus maintain a continuous learning culture.
Ownership: End-to-end ownership of services and specialized components required for various projects - starting from prototypal stage to production-hardened. These may include anything from document parsing to solving problems using deep learning.
Documentation: Create advanced technical content including articles, samples, whitepapers, and training.

About Senseye
Senseye PdM is a leading cloud-based Predictive Maintenance solution. It allows maintenance teams to reduce unplanned downtime and increase maintenance efficiencies. Senseye PdM uses machine learning to automatically forecast machine failure and remaining useful life. It is driven by Industry 4.0 / the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
The Role
Senseye is an exciting and rapidly expanding start up in the field of condition monitoring and prognostics. We are developing a cutting-edge cloud product to provide scalable prognostics and advanced condition monitoring to the manufacturing sector. Our team of engineers consist of software engineers, data scientists, UI experts, physicists and mechanical engineers. Following successful investment funding and strong traction from large multi-national clients, we are looking to expand the engineering team.
We are seeking an ambitious and versatile Backend Engineer, who will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing and roll out of new features and services. You will be involved in collaborating with the rest of the team to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.

As part of the tech team, you will join a crew of experienced engineers working on crafting the best possible user experience and building a highly scalable code base. Our stacks are Ruby and Go for the backend; EmberJS for the frontend; Kotlin and Swift for the mobile. Our tools/stack include Kafka, Kubernetes, ELK, AWS services and all the good stuffs you could think of!
As a Software Backend Engineer, you will work on improving and scaling the most sensitive piece of Qonto infrastructure. You will ensure the safety and robustness of systems handling hundreds of thousands of complex requests a day. You will also work on shipping innovative new banking features for an exponentially growing user base.
