We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern, who would help us build our core identification platform and infrastructure. Our backend is built in Ruby on Rails and as our colleague you would be helping us to extend it, write APIs and integrate our backend with different other third-party vendors (machine learning, fake ID detection, fraud detection etc.). You would also receive an individual project, where you can take full ownership over a part of our system, get coaching, 1on1 sessions with experienced developers from our team and make an impact on our product from day one.

The role:

As (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) you will be involved in every layer of the technology, including the robot control system, the video streaming system, our machine learning side as well as the cloud infrastructure. In addition, you will be essential in defining the foundations of our product and culture.

You will be responsible for building Golang messaging services. A main challenge is growing our services to scale for our millions of users across billions of websocket connections every month, as well as ensuring security and resiliency.

To help with your role, you will have the support of our devops team to deploy and manage our infrastructure, will work closely with our protocol and SDK teams, and have exposure to the full WalletConnect stack.

As our next full-time backend engineer, you'll help us build a securities API for financial institutions, the first such API in Europe. Your goal is to take ownership of designing, developing and maintaining our microservice architecture (written in Go).
