Responsibility:

The ads platform serves over 6 billion impressions daily. This advertisement platform is used by all MindGeek properties to promote our products. As a key member of the Ads delivery team you will have a mandate to take part in all stage of ads delivery system development life cycle. Key daily tasks will include:

Maintain existing system/product and support customer requests Design, implement and deploy new functionality/module/product. Research/analyse new technology for ads delivery platform.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science or related field, or equivalent work experience 1+​ years of experience with Golang programming with design/development of high performance system. Familiar with networking programming such as tcp/ip programming. Solid understanding of Object Oriented concepts. Familiar with Web/Http server, such as nginx. Good working knowledge of languages like BASH, Python on Linux. Strong skill of problem solving and complexity analysis. Good communication, both written and spoken in English.

Nice to Have:

Working experiences of java/c/c++ programming.

Herdius is a Berlin based Blockchain Company. We are working on building homomorphic distributed private key generation which then is turned into value bearing products in different sectors. Currently we are very close to open beta-testing for the Herdius-Crypto-Wallet.
What we focus on on the blockchain field specifically is interoperability and trading. When connecting different chains on the key level, users can eliminate communication channels, bridges and complex systems. In other words, users can do cross-exchange and chain token swaps very conveniently and profitably for the user due to the cross-exchange arbitrage opportunities. The broader vision is one day to replace API auth keys with public-private key cryptography in order to provide layered access to user data.

All this makes for a crypto eco system and hedge fund that pays interest on all cryptocurrencies (that right now are unfortunately somewhat unusable and just laying around on wallets).

About the role:


Herdius is seeking for a Gopher Guru - an experienced Senior Golang Backend-Developer - to join our team of smart and visionary individuals. Experience in Blockchain is not necessary but a big plus.

Development at Fraugster:

Our stack uses Go exclusively for back-end APIs. Functionality is spread across multiple services which communicate via gRPC. Relational data is stored in Postgres and other types of data are held in other non-relational data-stores such as etcd and Kafka. All services are containerized and deployed to kubernetes. Our frontend client is implemented in Angular 7 (Typescript).

Our development process is lightweight Scrum with 2 week iterations. Code is contributed to projects via merge/pull requests which are peer reviewed by colleagues. Code is continuously integrated, tested and checked with automated CI pipelines.
