You will be a part of our backend team working on keeping the Toggl Track service up and running and making sure that our users get the right data at the right time. The salary for this position is €60,000 annually. You can work from anywhere in the world.
We are looking for an experienced Software Architect that has a deep understanding of backend web technologies. Someone that could help in projects from closing the deal to implementation. Also to improve and rewrite some legacy systems.
We need someone to make architectural decisions and will work with the team to ensure consistency across projects and mission teams -- meaning coding standards, patterns, lint, testing among others.
You will fit well in the Toggl Track backend team if you are passionate about technology and have experience programming in Go. Knowledge of technologies like Ruby, PostgreSQL, REST, JSON and Google Cloud Infrastructure will help you get going from day one. With our Observability team, your mission is to help our customers monitor and troubleshoot their apps, and evaluate their health and performance when exposed to real user traffic. You’ll be working with large amounts of streaming data, using a variety of technologies to process and store this data, providing our customers valuable information about their apps. With our Runtime & Integrated Apps team, your mission is to design and implement fault-tolerant distributed systems and create the supporting features that they leverage. Innovating on our functions product, adding more capabilities, better observability, and handling questions of how to scale the offering (we have 1 million+ functions deployed now)
Increasing our developer velocity by partnering with other teams to improve how we update our edge software, without incurring any customer impacts
Expanding on our analytics product. This involves dealing with high cardinality data that is constantly streaming into the system via Kafka. Finding an efficient way to store and search the data to drive customer insights.
