At Kramp Hub, with a team of great professionals we are continuously seeking simple solutions for very complex challenges in the e-commerce world, within an industry that is becoming more important day by day - agriculture. At the moment we are busy building a multi-tenant microservice platform and working on a Data Hub that will steer the decisions and directions of the immense business we are in, having 3 million euros in revenue going through the system daily.
Within the seven teams working on different domains, you can create and pave your own path in fully autonomous, mature teams that decide the way they want to go about a challenge. Saar aan Huis is a customer-oriented, private (informal) care organization that brings together the demand for support for the elderly at home with the range of service providers. The organization selects “Saars” with the utmost care and only works with motivated people who want to help the elderly with their daily activities with love and respect. This for an appropriate fee. The "Saars" are mainly resident in the work area of clients, have a care history behind them and want to be useful on a part-time basis.
Saar aan Huis is a franchise organization that started in the summer of 2013 and currently has 25 branches in the Netherlands. As an innovative healthcare organization for the elderly in particular, we have the ambition to grow further. We are therefore looking for a candidate who can raise our technical platform at the head office. You will be ultimately responsible for the development and management of the tech stack and, if proven suitable, can participate in the management of the company in the (short) term.
Your position
You are responsible for all technology used within Saar aan Huis. This technology is largely supplied by third parties and therefore vendor management and maintaining the technological blueprint are important. Together with the director you determine whether new applications need to be built internally or by third parties. Help Saar aan Huis to further transform into a "full-stack company".
Your duties
· Take the lead in the design, construction and management of new applications

Inspired by co-founder Jari’s parents being deaf, SpeakSee is developing a multi-microphone system which transcribes speech to text on a web application in different colors for each person. This way the deaf person can read what's being said!
Presently available speech recognition solutions don’t work well for group conversations. In the morning, you and your fellow engineers sit down with the Product Owner to discuss the performance of a not-so-fast API endpoint. Comparing the ideal performance to the data collected by our monitoring systems, you brainstorm together a few ideas of how to improve the service's performance and design a scalable solution. After lunch, you jump onto an open issue and prepare a pull request that improves the infrastructure's reliability for one of the most delicate components. Before the end of the day, you put together some ideas on how to improve another component's design and organize an architecture review session with some engineers across teams to discuss the benefits and costs of your proposed solution.
Requirements Who we are looking for / requirements

We've been using React, GraphQL and Golang in production environments since the early days. Since a few years we’ve started using Kubernetes and nowadays all our new services run in the cluster.
