You are a Software Engineer responsible for building and managing cloud-native applications across multiple clouds. In this role, you will develop, implement, and operate Couchbase's Cloud products. If you have experience developing applications using Go programming language (or willingness to learn) along with experience with either the three major cloud platforms- AWS, Azure, GCP, we'd love to have you apply.
Here's a brief look at what success looks like in this role:
In 3 months time- you'll have collaborated with the team to build and shipped a material contribution such as a new feature, regularly contributed to code reviews, and fixed a few bugs.
In 6 months time- you'll have earned the trust of the team and taken on independent code review responsibilities that help prevent bugs that are collaborating on the design of new features.
In 12 months time- you'll have delivered tasks throughout the SDLC, from design through development with some guidance and have established a cadence of on-time deliver with high quality work.
This role is also open to remote work (USA, UK, India) as our teams are globally distributed. We are a remote-first team. Prior experience working remotely is not required, however, we are looking for team members who perform well given a high level of independence and autonomy and will establish a cadence of on-time delivery with high-quality work.

The Role
The Deployment Infrastructure team's goal is to accelerate the end-to-end engineering lifecycle at Palantir by building tools and platforms that make it easier to create, deploy, and iterate on secure and highly available software. As a Software Engineer on the Deployment Infrastructure team, you will reimagine how our company builds and deploys software and how we use data to make decisions, then build the products and infrastructure to enable that new approach.
Core Responsibilities
*Build and maintain highly available systems responsible for service deployment & telemetry across hundreds of production environments. *Design and evolve software managing in-environment service discovery and configuration of microservices. *Architect and manage secure, scalable infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes to support our external and internal use cases. *Develop tools to enable other engineers such as CI/CD pipelines, container schedulers, and custom applications. *Debug complex issues and performance problems throughout the stack.

Job Description We are looking for a Devops Engineer to help build and operate our delivery pipelines and core platform. The position will work side by side with development, QA, and product in order to successfully deliver high quality software. An ideal candidate is an individual who is either a strong developer who is interested in operations, or strong operations engineer who is interested in software development. Good team skills are essential to this role, as there is a great deal of day-to-day collaboration that takes place as we build and deliver solutions.
Responsibilities • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using drone and spinnaker • Build and maintain observability and alerting across application and infrastructure • Assist with the operation of a kubernetes cluster • Participate in on-call rotation • Automation of manual tasks using scripting and application development • Identify bottlenecks in the development process and implement solutions • Work with developers to optimize applications for performance and scale • Administer AWS resources and provide guidance on utilization • Ensure we are releasing code safely, securely and frequently • Investigate and adopt new technologies/tools are needs arise
Qualifications • Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills • Good understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery principles • Knowledge and experience with container technologies. Docker and kubernetes preferred. • Strong linux skills • Understanding of security principles • Experience with at least one programming language (python, ruby, golang, C#), no need to be a superstar coder but you will need to at least be able to write maintainable code that interacts with the AWS and other API's • Good understanding of devops/agile principles • Experience with configuration management/infrastructure as code tooling. Terraform is preferred. • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions. Prometheus is preferred. • Use of version control systems such as git • Experience working with cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP). We're Fuzzbuzz and we're building a fuzzing as a service platform that integrates into CI systems and the modern software testing workflow. Fuzzing is a type of automated testing that generates and runs thousands of inputs per second on your code to try and find bugs and vulnerabilities. It uses code coverage and other signals from your code to guide the tests it generates and runs. You can read more here.
Last year, we raised a $2.7M seed round from some of the best tech investors & founders, namely Y Combinator, Fuel Capital, Solomon Hykes (Docker founder), Flo Leibert (Mesosphere founder), Spencer Kimball (CockroachDB founder), Michael Stoppelman (Yelp ex-CTO).
We're currently a team of 5 people and prefer staying small - allowing us to iterate faster and get very comfortable working with each other (the 3 founders have been roommates since first year university). That means you'll be 16% of the team - all of the work you do will be extremely critical and immediately impact users. We pride ourselves in being a very humble, but capable team - the 2 founding engineers each have 20+ years of engineering experience.
Since we are really small, we prefer having everyone working at the same location. We’re at 541 Jefferson Ave in Redwood City, CA - 10 mins from the Caltrain (everyone's currently WFH because of COVID-19. We will resume working from the office when it is safe).
