JumpCloud is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join an engineering team focusing on certificate based authentication and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Identity Management (IM) services are a key part of the entire JumpCloud product portfolio. Along with our Authentication and Authorization services, IM provides the foundation for our identity and security solutions, both cloud and device based. The PKI team’s work will make using JumpCloud even easier and more seamless, while providing a very high level of security.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role is $140,000-$180,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. JumpCloud provides a comprehensive benefits package, with several medical plans to choose from including a high deductible HSA plan with employer contribution, two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), employee assistance program (EAP), short- and long-term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan with match. JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First. If a role requires you to be in a certain location or country, that will be clearly stated in the job description. All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States.
Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote, work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.

As a Staff Engineer you have mastered the ability to affect and own projects, and have begun scaling your scope to include entire domains. About the Role
At Techcyte, we are building machine learning algorithms for microscopy testing using the latest in deep learning. To support these applications, we use AWS in a dynamically scaling environment while maintaining the availability and quality requirements of medical grade software.

As such, our DevOps members are still developers and will participate in product development, but they should be evangelists for thinking about code in the context of where and how it runs.

Hard Problems
Techcyte develops products using computer vision and deep learning to automate microscopy for laboratory testing for healthcare, veterinary services, and environmental testing. We need to analyze the equivalent of a blu-ray movie worth of images in the cloud in only a few minutes while staying reliable and accurate.
