We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join this team in Sydney.
Specific experience is not as important as the willingness to learn and make an impact. We use a modern stack of React, Go, and Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform, so experience in those technologies is a bonus.

What you'll do
Our product stack comprises of a number of different systems, from backend APIs to web components, SDKs and plugins. As a Software Engineer in our company, you will be working closely with our engineers as well as other internal teams in order to design, build and maintain the technologies and systems that comprise our platform, enabling its expansion and scale. As an early Platform Engineer at Watchtower, you’ll enable us to deliver our platform reliably, securely, and at massive scale. You’ll help architect low latency, real-time microservices that process & detect sensitive data at scale.

Qualifications:

Fleet’s server is written in Go with go-kit. Deployments range from single servers to over 100,000 clients connected to horizontally scaled Fleet servers, handling tens of thousands of requests per minute. We aim to keep Fleet’s deployment as simple as possible to ease self-hosted deployment. MySQL and Redis are used for persistence and caching.
