About the role
To maximize this momentum we are growing the team and are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to build APIs and scalable backend systems to power Mojito's NFT marketplaces. You will work with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to bring next-generation blockchain products into the mainstream. We are looking for a full time Backend Software Engineer to join our development team. Job duties will include working on Stream's core API technology as well as designing and building high-performance software. This role in either our Amsterdam office or remote (CEST or close).
What you will be doing
Most of your day will be dedicated to software design, research, and coding. On typical projects, you will have a lot of freedom and you will be paired with another team member. Our team is made up of very experienced engineers, some with more than 10 years of experience. By working together you will learn from each other along the way. You will have an enormous impact on making our API service faster, more scalable and more flexible.
You will add new features to the service and find ways to make the existing ones perform orders of magnitude faster. Our customers have millions of users; they use Stream for mission critical features such as showing content and exposing core functionality of their application. Building stable and reliable software is not just an option: as a member of the development team, you will design and write state-of-the-art software, follow best practices, measure everything and be responsible for deployment to production. About Fugue
Fugue helps engineers build and operate secure cloud infrastructure. We continuously monitor infrastructure-as-code and cloud resources for our customers, report on vulnerabilities that we find, and help remediate the underlying issues. Our platform and open source tools are used in CI/CD pipelines to spot misconfigurations early and fix them before they are deployed to production environments.

The Role
As a Backend Software Engineer on the Fugue Product team, you will lend a hand in designing, implementing, and automating the deployment of new features in our SaaS application. You will work with the Product team to create robust and highly scalable systems that interact with the AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud APIs. You will work with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation and will contribute to various open source projects written in Go like our Regula project for IaC security. We use serverless technologies including Lambda and Fargate in AWS. This role involves working in Go primarily, but also Python and Javascript from time to time.
In short, this position may be a great fit if you’re a Go developer looking to learn more about AWS, Azure, and Google clouds while working as part of a small but mighty team.
Requirements
Experience with one of AWS, Azure, or Google clouds would be ideal, but is not a hard requirement. If you have experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code technologies, then that’s a bonus. We also work with these tools and technologies, so any background with these is a plus: Open Policy Agent, Swagger APIs, MySQL, Redshift, Docker, and serverless computing in AWS.

About the role:
You will be one of five developers and maintainers of k6, a modern open-source tool for performance testing, written in Go. k6 was released publicly in early 2017 and has already received over 12,500 stars on Github and has an active community of users and contributors.
You will have a lot of influence on the project road map and will work with a high degree of autonomy, building and maintaining the tool. Your responsibilities will be to both write code, extending the functionality of k6, and maintain the code base, interface with the user community (i.e. review patches :) and potentially evangelize the tool. Your main, long-term goal will be to create the best possible tool and to get as many people as possible to use it.
You may also be involved with the k6 cloud integration, a SaaS service built on top of k6. Specifically, the parts of the cloud service written in Go, that orchestrates a distributed k6 test across 17 data centers around the world.
Due to our small teams and fast development pace, you will have a substantial and immediate impact on how the end product is architected, developed, and how the engineering team operates.
