About You
The Role
Our tech stack is a Vue.js frontend (currently being migrated to React) that communicates via GraphQL (Apollo) to a Go API, backed by Postgres. All hosted on Heroku/Netlify.
You'll be working alongside our team of six experienced engineers. We all take part in speccing and prioritizing product features, while striving to do it with a customer centric approach. We hold periodic retros to make sure our process makes sense. All work is peer reviewed. We release to production once a week and are aiming to release even faster.

We’re Sydney based with an office in Darlinghurst. We generally work from the office 2-3 days a week, where we try to line up collaborative meetings, and work from home the rest of the time.

With our Observability team, your mission is to help our customers monitor and troubleshoot their apps, and evaluate their health and performance when exposed to real user traffic. With our Runtime & Integrated Apps team, your mission is to design and implement fault-tolerant distributed systems and create the supporting features that they leverage. Increasing our developer velocity by partnering with other teams to improve how we update our edge software, without incurring any customer impacts
Expanding on our analytics product. This involves dealing with high cardinality data that is constantly streaming into the system via Kafka. Finding an efficient way to store and search the data to drive customer insights.

Your Role at Teylor
We are looking for someone with senior-level experience building backend systems to join our team and help build our SaaS lending platform.
In this role you will work closely alongside our existing development team, Head of Lending Solutions and CTO to understand and implement financial software and features. You will build secure, high quality software, while also helping to define MVP approaches to expanding our SaaS platform internationally. You will be working on expanding our platform's feature set to cover use cases for a growing number of banks that rely on the Teylor Lending Cloud to digitise their entire lending operations.
