SOPHIE builds AI tools that remove manual admin work for sales teams. We’re a small engineering team (4 devs) looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys architecture, performance, and integrations work.

What you'll do

• Design and build backend services and APIs
• Improve performance (latency, networking, memory)
• Build integrations with CRMs/ERPs
• Work on CI/CD, observability, and multicloud setups
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and CEO on technical decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development
• Strong Python experience
• Experience with Go or Rust is a plus
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, etc.)
• Comfortable in a small, fast-moving startup environment
• Able to work from our London office 2 days/week
