What you’ll do as Senior Software Engineer
As a senior engineer you will: - Understand our business goals and strategy and be able to make decisions based on them - Be able to take ambiguous problems, break them down, and help to find elegant solutions that don’t gloss over the details - Contribute to code shared across projects - Mentor other engineers through code reviews and pairing

The Role: We’re looking for a senior-level Backend Engineer who wants to develop event-driven, cloud architecture microservices in Go and who has existing production experience in Go. Our systems are deployed via GitHub Actions, containerized and deployed into AWS managed Kubernetes. Other elements of our architecture are Kafka, Postgres, and Redis. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, accountable, owns the problem, has a knack for creative problem-solving, and is a low-ego team player. You will join Nacelle’s core development team to develop and build new features for our backend systems. You will work directly with a team of talented engineers and product leaders.
Responsibilities Include: * Collaborate closely with Product to build impactful new technology for our customers * Build and maintain microservices in Golang while leveraging our modern cloud architecture * Conduct code reviews to ensure standards of qualify and observability are met * Write and maintain automated tests
Skills & Qualifications: * 7+ years of in-production backend developer experience * 5+ years of in-production Golang experience * 4+ years developing and deploying modern microservices

The Role
The Deployment Infrastructure team's goal is to accelerate the end-to-end engineering lifecycle at Palantir by building tools and platforms that make it easier to create, deploy, and iterate on secure and highly available software. As a Software Engineer on the Deployment Infrastructure team, you will reimagine how our company builds and deploys software and how we use data to make decisions, then build the products and infrastructure to enable that new approach.
Core Responsibilities
*Build and maintain highly available systems responsible for service deployment & telemetry across hundreds of production environments. *Design and evolve software managing in-environment service discovery and configuration of microservices. *Architect and manage secure, scalable infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes to support our external and internal use cases. *Develop tools to enable other engineers such as CI/CD pipelines, container schedulers, and custom applications. *Debug complex issues and performance problems throughout the stack.
