As a startup dedicated to public transport, our vision is to make buying tickets for passengers as easy as possible. Therefore, we are developing a ticketing system that automatically detects beginning and end of a journey. Based on the detection, it is possible to provide the passenger with the cheapest ticket.
The problems we are trying to solve are both interesting and challenging: developing a reliable ride detection algorithm based on data from smartphone sensors while creating a solution that attracts both passengers and public transport providers.

Based on our working product we would like to improve our cross-technology blockchain application for access rights and need a team member who drives the development right from the start. Therefore, we need support in the development of a blockchain based access management solution with following focus areas: β’ Set up and maintenance of a decentralized network β’ Programming of the function to create and share cryptographical access permissions β’ Communication to terminal devices via Bluetooth, NFC and WIFI β’ Integration of the web solution and of the mobile application β’ Coordination between different divisions as Backend Development, IT-Operations and Mobile App Development.
We are searching for a (Senior) Full Stack Developer who works on the overall solution including the development of the relevant SDKs for mobile applications. Therefore, interests and competencies in following areas are relevant: β’ Programming languages: Java, C, C++, JavaScript, C#, Golang, Swift β’ Understanding the architecture, design, and implementation of Blockchain systems, distributed ledgers and smart contracts β’ Cross-cutting operating systems: Mac, Windows, Linux β’ Cryptographical algorithms and security considerations β’ Experience with Bluetooth/BLE, p2p networks and/or file exchange is a big plus β’ Knowledge about continuous integration and unit tests β’ Familiar with Git as the version control system and first experiences with agile software development, e.g. Scrum β’ Additional competencies in Application Deployment, Scaling, Management and Continuous Delivery (Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc...)

Your Responsibilities β’ Heading the software development of our campaign management platform, based on best-in-class Google cloud platform technologies. You will directly report to the CTO.
β’ Lead cross-platform initiatives to align mobile, web and backend development
