The Challenge

The DevOps team is tasked with ensuring the reliability and security of our exponentially scaling platform, while serving as a force multiplier for the rest of the engineering organization. Other teams rely upon our expert guidance to design a product that earns the trust of our users, without slowing down the pace of development. We believe that automation and developer empowerment are the key to creating systems that are reliable and secure by default, while minimizing cycle times.   • 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Expertise with at least one of the following languages, or equivalent: Golang, Java, Kotlin, C#, C, C++, Python.
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies. We use Golang as our language of choice for backend services.
  • Experience scaling (micro-) web services to millions of users.
  • Can excel independently and have a sense of ownership of your own work.
  • Fluent English.
  • Based in Zurich or willing to relocate (this is an on-site role).
  • Swiss or EU passport holder (or other permits that allow you to work in Switzerland).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Golang.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with high traffic backend services.
