Here on the Ecom engineering team, we accomplish this by building a growing set of financial capabilities on top of our regulatory licenses. Some of these capabilities include processing payments and payouts, verifying user identities, detecting fraud and enforcing sanctions. Additionally, these systems have an expanding set of tools around them to be used by our partners and customers.
Basically, we write code that lets users sell digital hats in video games and get paid real money.
This position is for a Senior Software Engineer - Go on the Ecom team. The primary responsibility is to design and build the APIs that facilitate our capabilities. This is a fast-paced team and we are responsible for the full life cycle of our code. We break large systems down into component parts to be concurrently worked on, which requires that we be in lock step with each other. This means we highly value dependability and communication. We are iterative in nature, both as it applies to the code as well as our own processes. We build cool stuff, we weigh risk/reward, and when we make mistakes, we respond quickly and together and without blame. This is a team in the truest sense.

The Project
Named by the World Economic Forum as one of the world's 30 Technology Pioneers 2016, Synthace is re-imagining how we work with biology, exponentially improving the speed and quality of the final results.
This is made possible through our revolutionary cloud based platform for designing biological experiments, simulating them, translating instructions for automated lab equipment, and visualising complex data sets from the results. All of this is done by Antha, which is already impacting how scientists work with biology in major companies like Dow, Merck and GSK.
Antha lowers the level of entry for scientists wanting to introduce automation to their work, while allowing specialist technicians to get even more out of the existing equipment in the labs. It is directly contributing to faster, more efficient research into hard to cure genetic diseases such as Cancer.

As a Senior Go Engineer, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining code on the Textile Go libraries, including Threads, Buckets, Hub, and Powergate. This role is for someone with solid coding experience and the ability to lead new features. As part of that leadership, you will help craft and optimize our product roadmap by contributing your research and expertise. You will have many opportunities to contribute to the open-source ecosystem, including the IPFS and Filecoin stacks. This person will lead the development Serotiny’s biologically-aware API, collaborating with biologists to deploy novel creative algorithms useful in the design of new proteins.
The digital infrastructure is part of a design/build/test loop that couples a finely tuned software architecture with wet-lab mammalian synthetic biology. Serotiny is looking for our first backend developer who is excited to design novel software architectures for synthetic biology. Role:
