How does it work?
The “left brain” is Knoetic Analytics – the quantitative insights. We integrate with HR systems (HRIS, recruiting platforms, performance platforms, etc), ingest all that disparate employee data, manipulate it via a complex transform process, and then push insights back to the customer in a user-friendly way. Chief People Officers use Knoetic Analytics to visualize their workforce, prepare for Board meetings, influence their executive team, workforce plan, uncover performance trends, and much more.
The “right brain” is CPOHQ – the qualitative insights. Chief People Officers join our executive community to tap the wisdom of their peers, find best practices, workshop pressing business challenges, and make meaningful connections. The role of the CPO has never been more complex, and CPOHQ is where they turn to inform the decisions that impact their employees.

About The Role
We are building out our founding Engineering team. Senior Full-stack Engineers have the opportunity to work across the stack, front to back. The GoLang and/or Rust Developers is responsible for Design and implement software which is to be written in the Go and/or Rust programming language. Write efficient, scalable and modular microservices. Have the knowledge of how to use the various Go frameworks. Understand how to create efficient and effective microservices, Rest APIs, gRPC, etc. The GoLang and/or Rust Developers reports to the Director - Cloud and Digital QA.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
· Will play a key role in solution architectural design · Understand software requirements and translate them into high-performance products · Create robust, scalable, and reusable code · Coordinate with stakeholders and decision-makers to test and improve services · Provide analytical approaches to solve various problems · Troubleshoot issues where needed · Code back-end components and integrate applications to other web services · Follow industry standards like test-driven development, openAPI, CloudEvents.io, Software Supply Chain Security measures, etc.
Competencies
· GoLang and/or Rust developer who is experienced with microservices development, rest api development, and knowledge on Even-driven architecture & Reactive Programming. · Interested in learning and writing Kernel Functions using eBPF and byte code using WebAssembly using GoLang or Rust. - minimum 1 year experience is enough for this, not mandatory required skill. · Exposure to git versioning and devops culture is a plus. · Continuous learning nature is mandatory. · Kubernetes exposure or experience is a plus. · Opensource development and/or contribution experience is a plus. · Writing blogs and documentation is very important & mandatory job role to adopt, especially using Markdown.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field. · Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in IT environment but we encourage interns too

The role
You will be responsible for designing and building high quality and customer centric solutions within our platform team. You will work with Senior Product Managers, Technical Leads, UX Designers, QAs, and a team of talented engineers to bring our vision for the platform enablement team to life. This role also will play a key part in our continuous improvement journey, building out high levels of pipeline automation, great unit testing, and ensuring we live up to our engineering policies, processes, and standards.
Our platform team looks after enabling capabilities which other product teams consume – for example, our Tyk Identify Broker, back end plugins, Tyk Sync, Tyk Pump, and our multi datacentre bridge
We’d love it if you had line management experience, and are keen to impart some of your knowledge in managing and growing junior engineers.
It’d be great if you had some line management experience, but this is not essential.
Here’s what you’ll be getting up to
Occasional input into strategic direction of platform enablement, working with the Product Manager to suggest new ideas or challenge existing strategy Focusing on creating great quality , low technical debt, and optimal experience solutions for our our customers Being an advocate and driver for continuous improvement and operational excellence – increased automation, safer pipelines, more disciplined code merge, better unit testing etc Code with care to ensure your feature to debt ratio remains healthy Code using well accepted design patterns that allow for future scaling Working with DevSecOps to embed a security first approach to our product iteration and ensure what is released is safe for our customers Pair programming with more senior engineers to drive up your skill set Consider the quality, maintainability and flexibility of code written by you and improve this over time with mentorship with more experienced engineers Be focused on ensuring we write automated tests for every new capability and bug fix Have an understanding on creating, and testing solutions for non functional use cases – technical debt reduction, documentation improvement, security, stability, bug fix. The Platform Services team is responsible for creating and managing the platforms that power our products.
