About the role

As a Go Full Stack Engineer, you will help develop our software and be empowered to take on tasks as part of a small and growing team.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions using Go Language, microservices, Postgres database, and Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality that meet the needs of our customers
• Develop and maintain APIs that integrate with third-party systems and applications

(About the role) As a rapidly growing company, we’re looking for a qualified, senior developer to join our IT team and assist in the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of the Sparkfly Platform products. Required Qualifications: 5+ year’s software development experience preferably within an Agile development environment Experience with Go, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, Web Services, Database Design (PostgreSQL), multithreading, socket programming, OO design, and troubleshooting in Linux environment Experience developing APIs for integration and connectivity to third party platforms Experience developing responsive, semantic, standards compliant HTML and CSS At ease in a Linux/Unix development and build environment with experience using Git and CI tools (Jenkins, etc.) Candidate will have a strong understanding of system architectures and design concepts for high transaction volume applications. Full development life cycle- Hands-on through design, implementation, integration, and testing phases. The ideal candidate’s prior work experience reflects high standards for engineering with proven capabilities. The candidate possesses the ability to take on important business challenges and execute them with precision and quality.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years experience in a similar role
• Fluency in Javascript
• Meaningful, real-world experience with any other of the following: Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or similar
• Experience with Database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc)
• Experience with messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge of cloud computing
• Experience with modern source code management (git)
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when explaining technical matters to less technical teammates
• Ability to integrate concepts and methodologies into concrete product implementations
• Ability to work independently and quickly, but cares about precision and details, doing whatever it takes to get the job done
