We specialise in HTML5 games - these are games that can be played on the browser without downloading any app. HTML5 games work on Android, iOS, Web, TVs, feature phones, in-flight systems etc. We procure games from developers globally, as well as make games in-house. We optimise these games for developing markets and partner with companies to distribute our games.
We work with several messengers, utility apps, telecom operators, browsers, handset manufacturers across the globe, serving games to over 1.5 million people each day. A Backend Developer at Meshify will have the opportunity to work on a myriad of projects and applications. We have just finished 1.0 of our platform rewrite, entitled Carbon. It is a full scale redesign and rewrite of our legacy platform. We migrated from an old .NET API server to Go, from MySQL to ScyllaDB (Cassandra) for time-series data, and from MySQL to Postgres for relational data. It includes a query and analytics engine, highly customizable rules and notifications engine, and even custom javascript code triggered by messages in the data pipeline (Lambda Engine). Future projects will include a Hardware Identity Server providing identity and security to our hardware, simple integration with big data tooling, improved GPS rule processing, integration with common ticketing systems like Pager Duty, and more.

The SDK team produces the open source tools that allow developers to integrate with the Yoti technology. We are the ones who really define the Yoti integration experience and we support 7 popular languages (Node, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, C# and Go) plus 4 CMS plugins (Drupal 7, Drupal 8, Wordpress and Joomla).
As a Polyglot Developer, you will participate to the technical design and implementation of the new SDK features and you will make sure that our examples projects are always working and easy to understand.
You will also work closely with designers and product managers to make sure that our documentation is understandable and up to date. You will be able to have an impact from day one, but we also care about you and invest in your learning.

Backend Systems Engineer
At CommentSold we are building multiple complex systems to support our core e-commerce and mobile technology stacks, we have systems doing video transcoding, push and SMS messaging, mobile build pipelines and a few other interesting problems.
We're looking for an experienced backend systems engineer with a strong general software engineering skillset to help build and grow our new systems development. In this role you’ll be driving forward our new backend systems, helping designing and maintaining our existing systems.
Right now the majority of our backend systems which live outside our main web stack are written in Go and/or built on AWS technologies like ECS and beanstalkd. If you have experience with and interest in helping solve some interesting problems where scaling is a real factor this might be the right role for you.
